Assignment 17A: Elevator Pitch No. 2

1) The pitch

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch. I didn't really receive too much feedback regarding my last pitch so I asked a few friends to give me feedback as well. Between the comments on my post and what my friends told me, they said I needed to clean up the pitch in terms of how smoothly I presented the information. They also told me that I should include facts about how large the kayak industry is.

3) What did you change, based on the feedback? I changed a lot based off of the feedback I received because the first pitch sounded a little too rehearsed. In fact when you are giving it in real life I think it should be more of a conversation rather than an in person infomercial. I also added some statistics about how many kayakers there were in 2017 (most recent data) and why people might need this product.

  1. Daniel,

I thought you did really well on your elevator pitch. You have definitely improved since the last elevator pitch that you posted. You presented the audience with good eye contact, good voice, and a lot of confidence. Very well done. I would have invested if I was a billionaire.

  2. Hi Daniel, I think that it is smart to get feedback from people even when they aren’t even part of the course. I know that my pitch improved significantly after my first elevator pitch, so I think that we had very similar experiences there. Overall I think you did a great job taking feedback from the first pitch and turning it into something positive!
