Assignment 22A: Elevator Pitch No. 3

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
All of the feedback that I received from my last post was positive and acknowledged that the changes I made from the first pitch enhanced the pitch a lot. I added some facts about how many people went kayaking in 2017 and had a more cohesive pitch. I think that the second pitch was a lot better than the first because I already knew what I wanted to say and made it more conversational rather than formal.

3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
Based on the feedback from the last pitch, I did not change too many things. I added the uses for my product such as how it can be used both residentially as in it can be bought by the general public and commercially such as through kayak rental companies. I think my second pitch was better than this one for the sole purpose of that it was a lot more off the top of my head than written down and flowed a lot better. I think with more practice I would be able to get it perfect every time.

  1. Daniel,

Your elevator pitches have become tremendously better since your first one that I watched. Your business has come along way as well, having grown as a human and as a business is a great trait that will help you in the long run.

  2. Howdy Daniel,
Statistics are always a nice thing to have in a pitch. I didn't end up changing much from my second pitch either. I thought that since this one was shorter that I could get rid of the fluff in my previous pitch, but it was much harder to cut down than I thought. Conversational pitches do sound better than formal pitches but this one was still not bad. Good job on the post.

  3. Hi Daniel,

I definitely agree that with more practice you start to perfect your pitch – I experienced the same thing when practicing my pitch. I like how you added new parts to your product during your pitch that would make it more effective. I did something similar with my product. I think that by saying it out loud and trying to sell it to people, we are able to find flaws in our product that we can improve to increase sales.
